Dance and Musical Theater

ART CHANGES THE WORLD.

If you have known me for more than a minute, you know how incredibly important this is to me.

Art speaks to our hearts. And though we communicate through many languages, embrace differing cultures and sometimes consider opposing ideas, a story shared through art can often ignite us towards new understanding and shared experiences. Whether the art is shared through a staged production or a blockbuster movie, a philharmonic orchestra or 12-string guitar, a canvas painted in watercolor or sculpture carved from stone, ideas expressed through art are available to all of us. The stories are there to teach us, like the air we breathe, all around us, generation after generation.  It is my belief that art helps conduct the music of our lives, and the artists of today are the world-shapers of tomorrow. Life does imitate art. All of the time. In more mediums than we can imagine. And the ARTISTS, they are the story tellers. And thank goodness for them.

And with that being said... for the past 36 years I have had the privilege of being a dance educator, professional dancer and stage performer. I am filled with gratitude to continue my work for the chance to pass the torch.
